About Our Event – How to Find Us
The New York International Numismatic Convention is the United States’ most prestigious numismatic event targeting the needs of the world and ancient numismatic communities. The 39th Annual NYINC will be held at fabled Waldorf Astoria Hotel, located at 301 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10022, between 49th and 50th Streets. Our dates will be January 1-9, 2011.
The NYINC will feature a bourse area consisting of 115 of the leading specialists in world and ancient numismatics and will be held on the 18th floor meeting room level of the Waldorf Astoria. The auction sessions will also be held in the Norse Suite, on the 18th floor.
Please consult the Schedule of Events for each specific auction to determine its location. Our event will also include a full range of educational programs and meetings. Our multiple auction sessions are cataloged and conducted by a number of the leading numismatic houses in the world, including: Heritage Galleries and Auctioneers; Gemini Numismatic Auctions, LLC; Freeman and Sear; Classical Numismatic Group; The New York Sale, a joint venture of Baldwin's Auctions, Ltd; M&M Numismatics and Dmitry Markov;, Stack's and Ponterio & Associates, Inc.- a Division of Bowers & Merena.
In all 10 different auction houses, either singly or in collaborative efforts, will be contributing their expertise and numismatic drawing power to our auction presentations in 2011, which will take place over a span of nine consecutive days. No other numismatic convention can equal the incomparable scope and breadth of the NYINC auctions, presentations that require literally attact dealers and collectors from throughout the world.
Auction lot viewing will open on Saturday, January 1. Auction sessions will be held Sunday January 2 through Monday, January 10. The bourse are will open from 2PM-7PM on Thursday, January 6 for the Professional Preview. For a $100 registration fee, payable on site, Professional Preview attendees will have access to the bourse area prior to the regular public admission hours to the bourse. The Professional Preview is open to both collectors and dealers without booths.

Public admission is $10 for a three day pass valid throughout the event. Children 16 and under with an adult are admitted free of charge. A $5 admission discount coupon valid Friday-Sunday may be printed by clicking here.

The 100 dealer bourse area will be held in four separate rooms of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel on the 18th floor meeting room level. The Starlight Roof, Palm Room, Gramercy Suite and the Metropolitan Suite. Hours will be:

Hotel Reservations

The New York International Numismatic Convention is held at one of New York’s finest and most luxurious hotel properties, the fabled Waldorf Astoria. To reserve accommodations at the Waldorf call (212) 355-3000 and advise the agent you are attending the New York International Numismatic Convention. Ask for group code "NYZ". Especially favorable rates of $279 or $299 are available to NYINC attendees, depending on the size and location of lodgings selected.
Please note that after the room block expires on December 1, 2010 and/or after the block is full, higher rates may prevail. Please book early to avoid disappointment.The importance of making reservations early can not be overestimated, as the Waldorf Astoria is typically sold out during most of our dates and alternative accommodations are likely to be available only at considerably higher cost, if at all.

| Please note that the first day of the NYINC each year will be a Saturday, when auction lot viewing opens. Auction sessions are held Sunday through the second Monday, while the bourse area s open to the public Friday through Sunday. The Professional Preview, open to both members of the trade and collectors, is held on Thursday from 2PM to 7PM. There is a $100 registration fee at this special preview period prior to he opening of the bourse to the general public. Registration for the Professional Preview takes place on arrival at the18th floor convention registration area of the Waldorf, just outside the entrance to the Starlight Roof and Palm Rooms. Professional Preview Registrants may be required to show a government issued photo condition of admission, such as a non-driver’s identification card, driver’s license or passport.
